NETworX Hosting Travelers Auction

MORVEN — NETworX is hosting its first fundraiser, the Travelers Auction, from October 18 – November 19.

The online auction will feature arts, crafts, and travel from around the world. To support local artisans, a few items are Ansonian-made including pieces from Price’s Place, Katie Scarborough, and her son and six-year-old artist Landon Scarborough. Davi Trotti, John Trotti, and Kathryn McLeod donated art from their travels including the United States and its territories, Australia, and Africa. Items include pottery, paintings, quilts, a virtual Italian culinary lesson, and a trip.

The fundraiser will support current programs including the 18-month cohort, book club, and the new community garden. “The community garden will address mental and physical poverty in the county. Through tending to the garden and enjoying its fresh ingredients, the goal of this project is to educate, foster community relationships, and assist in raising the county’s state ranking for healthy residents,” reads NETworX’s Facebook event page.

To register for the auction via text, send “networxansonautumn” and your full name to 1-541-583-4642. Follow the text’s registration from GalaBid. For more about the Travelers Auction, follow NETworX Anson on Facebook or email at devintpettiford@gmail.com.
